Description

The aico ei146rc mains powered optical smoke alarm is designed to detect slow, smouldering fires commonly caused by sofas or electrical fires. It has a 10 year life and is supplied with an easi-fit base for quick and simple installation. The alarm is also compatible with radiowlink interconnection for less mess and disruption. It has a large capacity, proven optical sensor chamber and a built-in mesh screen to reduce insect and dust contamination.

The alarm has a 9v alkaline battery back-up and a button test to simulate the effect of smoke and check the chamber, electronics and horn. It also has a self-test feature which automatically tests the smoke chamber every 40 seconds and beeps (without red LED flash) if it is degraded. The plastic material is UL94VO flame retardant and the dimensions are 150mm dia. x 55mm (product) and 155mm x 155mm x 65mm (boxed). The weight is 325g (product only) and 410g (boxed).
